GMO Safeguarding (EU Directive 2015/412/EU)

Supporting national and regional opt-out mechanisms under Directive 2015/412/EU (amending Directive 2001/18/EC) to ensure Kos Island remains free from Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs); protecting indigenous seeds, endemic flora, and agricultural biodiversity.

Pesticide Reduction & Sensitive Protected Zones (Directive 2009/128/EC)

Advancing the mandates of Directive 2009/128/EC (Greek Law 4036/2012) by establishing chemical-free buffer zones, implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and advocating for the restriction or total prohibition of chemical pesticides within Natura 2000 sites, public parks, and aquatic recharge aquifers.

Tourism Infrastructure Impact Mitigation

Mitigating civil infrastructure failures—including greywater degradation, septic odors, plumbing grease buildup, and organic waste accumulation—across hotel resorts, commercial venues, and municipal utilities.
